    Myah Ariel (she/her), Founder

    Myah Ariel is the author of contemporary romances WHEN I THINK OF YOU and NO ORDINARY LOVE. Her early love of movies led her from Arkansas to New York City where she earned a BA in cinema studies from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. She also holds an MA in specialized journalism for the arts from USC Annenberg. For several years Myah worked across multiple roles in the film and entertainment industry before pivoting to work in academia. As a medical mom and a hopeless romantic, Myah is passionate about inclusive love stories.

    Lane Clarke (she/her), Co-Founder

    Lane (she/her) is a Black author and attorney in Washington, D.C. She is also an Associate Agent with ArtHouse Literary Agency. Her debut novel, LOVE TIMES INFINITY, releases this summer with Little, Brown/Poppy. She lives with her partner and two sons (her cat, Pickles, and dog, Pax) and spends her time eating too many Oreos and drinking too much Cherry Coke.     Ashyle Jordan (she/her/they), Founding Member

    Ashyle Jordan (she/her/they) is a Black, queer writer from Kansas City, KS. She’s a fan of the spooky and creepy and magic, and writes MG, YA and NA Spec Fic, Contemporary Fantasy, Magical Realism, and Horror. She is a #Revpit22 winner. Outside of writing, Ashyle is a proud social worker and therapist. She can be found on Twitter at @zeta_noelle.

    Faith W.S. (she/her), Founding Member

    Faith W.S. (she/her) is a mother to two little readers and a former ELA teacher who now works in non-profit community outreach focused on climate and community advocacy. She likes to write YA horror genre blends, but occasionally writes much sweeter stories for little kids.
